I'm trying all kinds of interesting stereo connections. I'll post clips when I can.

Awesome! me and my friend were thinking of trying that for fun. Do you do A/B or are they both always on?

Man this does not help my tm 2x12 gas.

I've only had the amps for a few days so I'm still experimenting. John over at Egnater gave me the idea during an email conversation. I had been wanting to setup a stereo rig for some time. It's not really true stereo since the speakers interact with each other within the cab. I'd need and extra cab to make it full stereo. Nonetheless, it sounds great.

So far, I've been running them both at the same time, both set the same exact way. I've been doing this to see how loud I can make it (since my band plays quite loud) and to try and squeeze as much headroom as I can. The cool thing is that each amp is a bit different. So even set the same, 2 different characters make it through.

I wanted to see how much louder 2 amps would be than 1. I ran 1 into the mono jack and listened... Then 2 into the stereo jacks. The 2 amps together make it considerably louder, but obviously, not twice as loud. I'd need an extra cab to do that!

Right now I'm experimenting with the effects loop. I've tested out my pedals through both the front of the amps and through the loop and I've decided my Ibanez AD9 Delay will go in through the loop (although I've gotten suggestions to run analog delays through the front - but IMHO, this only works for clean playing) and my Line 6 Tap Tremolo will also go in through the loop.

I'm trying to figure out how to run these pedals in stereo through both loops. I'm stuck, cause I have an MKS Patch Pad stereo router, and I don't have enough connections available to run stereo through both loops. So...

I'm thinking!

I'm not familiar with the MKS Patch Pad stereo router, but all I can suggest is stereo pedals, since that'd allow you to use them through both loops right?

Thanks for sharing and good luck!

How did you connect the rebels and the cab to each other ? Could you please post a photo (front & rear)?

The cabinet has separate jacks for mono or stereo. It has two 16ohm plugs for stereo, so I just connect each amp's 16ohm output to here. If I'm using just one, then I plug into the 8ohm mono out of the 8ohm output in one of the rebels. Here's a pic... You can barely see the 8ohm mono jack as it is hidden by one of the cables. But, it's there.

Well, the Patch Pad is simply a little unit with a bunch of plugs so that you can plug all your pedals into in and then plug the amp/amps into the router. It allows you to do all your connecting there, instead of plugging and unplugging from the pedals themselves.

The problem I'm having is that many pedals like my Ibanez AD9 Analog Delay and CS9 Stereo Chorus have stereo out jacks but no stereo in jacks. So I can only plug them in stereo through the front of the amps. Since there is no stereo returns in them, I can't put them in the loop. I do have a Line 6 Tap Tremolo. This one has stereo ins and outs so it's not a problem to put it in the loop.

You should get something like a GCX and use that to be able to switch in between the preamp sections of those 2 Rebels. Then use the effects loop for stereo effects like a TC G-Force or a Lexicon MPXG2. That would be a kick ass rig! 2 preamp sounds, stereo power amp, and stereo effects. Even better would be one side set to EL84 and one to 6V6.

That's what I'd do! But that's me :).

interesting, Crystal clear lab 2x12 cabs have a piece of wood in the middle seperating 2 "Different" speakers. the back panel is one piece but on side is cut open on the top and the other is fully closed

+1 on the el34 on one rebel and 6l6 on the other.

i really want two mod 50's to do that with bman/t/d X vox /Sl
