Here are some before & after pics of my 2000 '58 Historic Blacktop i just recently purchased. I switched out the pickups for Sheptone's RHS/bridge and AB custom/neck in zebra, added aged Grovers and slightly aged the rest of the nickel hardware. Just for grins, I am including a pic of the new owner of my previous '58 Blacktop with some of his FB posts as well as a pic of my new guitar prior to shipping to me on the wall behind the Richard Ash in the most recent Sam Ash Gear guide (nothing more than just a novelty pic for me).

Very cool! I like the look of the white pickups on your old '58 you sold to Doug.

I just prefer the look and especially the tone of uncovered pups.

Wow, what a cool guitar. I remember when they first a run of these for Sam ash. I like the looks best with the dual cream uncovered, I liked the dual zebra looks the least.

Just caught That Metal Show w/Heart and Doug Aldrich debuting "The Black Hornet." Damn cool guitar in a great player's hands!!!
