For sale is my 2002 Diezel VH4. This VH4 is very different from modern versions and has a lot more in common with the old "Blueface" spec.
Compared to a new VH4 this one is much darker, smoother, and muscular with a huge low mid grunt. There's less negative feedback resulting in a more raw, organic, touch sensitive tone. Single notes carry the weight of chords and take up a lot of sonic space. Chords are massive. Paired with a Mesa 4x12 this amp will absolutely pummel everything in front of it. Just dial in the Adam Jones settings, put an OS Mesa 4x12 under it, and that's the sound. If you want that tone, this is the VH4 to grab.
The amp itself is in fantastic condition and works perfectly with no issues. There's obviously wear and tear but it's very minimal and nothing more than gentle play wear. This amp has been babied and kept in a studio for most of its life. There is only one tear in the tolex, identified in the pictures. The amp is currently tubed with EL34's (as all old Diezels were) that have plenty of life left in them.
