I acquired this a few weeks ago...I try to love Fender style guitars, but I never seem to bond with them.

I contacted G&L to confirm what I found in the neck pocket of this guitar....(SEE PICS!!!)...but they told me that the serial number on this guitar is included in a large batch of serial numbers that were lost in a computer failure.   So they cannot tell me, from a factory standpoint, where it went after it was built, what dealer it went to, etc.   They did tell me that it was an authentic USA G&L...but by not having the build records from their data base, that was all they know.   But seeing's that "WILL RAY NAMM" is on the neck heel, its a pretty safe bet, its a NAMM guitar.

I would wager that this is a 1-off custom ASAT, given the information on the neck.  The neck fits perfectly on the pocket...no slop, no wiggle....TIGHT

It is a beautiful silver sparkle ASAT.  It has the super cool WILL RAY custom skull inlays on a rosewood board.  It weighs 8 lbs.   I'm not sure of the body wood.  Maple neck.  Locking tuners.  Will Ray B-Bender (not installed at this time).

A great sounding Tele....very aggressive and snappy.

It is in excellent condition...the frets show very little wear.  The neck is true....it plays wonderfully.

Comes with an aftermarket case and the b-bender

$1500 shipped

Thanks for looking!
