Is it just me or channel 2 on the vh4 where it's at for soulful rocking licks? This channel always brings out my best playing and paired with a bb preamp it just owns.

I don't even use a BB or my OCD on it usually, but when I do, the sustain makes it purrrrrrrrrfect.

Traded it for a VH4 awhile ago. Texas mode is irreplaceable, like SLO by Diezel.

NICE playing. 'Specially love the lax' thumb finger rotations in the quick round pick approaches. Nice technique, not often seen - most cats go all wrist or even arm. This was slick.

My channel 2 setting are as follows:

Bright switch on
Gain - max
chnl vol - noon
Treb-3 oclock
Mid- between 12 and 1 oclock
Bass - Between 11 and 12

Presence at about noon
deep level about 10 oclock

My channel 2 settings are:

Bright switch off.

Gain: Max
Volume: 12:00
Treble: 2:30
Middle: Max
Bass: 10:00

I like things a little darker and more mid-heavy. Depends on the guitar/pickup as well. I use a Les Paul with a Duncan JB.
