2005 VH4 channel 2

I was wondering if there is a way to increase the gain on a 2005 VH4 channel 2. I do not think I want the mod that everybody seems to think they need. (I do not like the thought of my amp having too much sizzle) I would just like to get a little more gain/saturation from this channel. Channel 2 has such a killer tone, just want to beef if up a tiny bit without hurting that tone. Maybe a boost pedal?

The mod has nothing to do with a 2005 VH4. I just used a BB Preamp on the 2003 to goose it. On the 2007
you really don't need it as the gain at 1:00 is like the 2003-2005's full up.

If you don't was to use a boost, e-mail Papa and maybe he can tell you what resistors to swap for more gain.
