Here are two videos I took with my Zoom Q3HD while at the amp show. Both Mark and Pete are playing a replica 59 les paul built by Scott Sheldon at MCI Music and more

That G string will get you everytime

The Video With Day playing is absolutely off the Chain

sounds good and inspiring in many ways! Thanks for posting these! Both are great players and the amp sounds killer.

I agree with Mark's post above mine. Great playing and the tones are Killer. But who is the guy that kept walking in front of the camera when Mark Day was playing ?
Geesh! Kinda like how people will get in the back ground and waive when TV reporters are doing live broadcasts. Puppy mentality.....

how loud was the amp in both clips? what was the preamp and master set on? not that i want exact settings. i'm curious about how the amp sounds the higher the volumes are cranked. does anyone dime this amp?

Don't know what the exact settings were during the video. I can say that for most of the time they had this amp cranking, I have owned a few amps that you get to a certain volume and they just fall apart. With the Camaron it sounded great at all volumes, the Zoom Q3HD recorder makes these videos sound like they are recorded at bedroom levels but the volumes are at or above stage volume.

i hear ya and i did take in to consideration the recording. i was more curious about how they stay together with different volume settings. it being a master volume amp and the master acting as a gain knob as well as a volume knob in the circuit. I wondered if the gain just became too much at a certain point.

The volume will far outrun the gain. On channel 2, with the gains around 1:00 and everything set in a Jose drive/master mode, I am running the master around 10:00 and it is a full on assault. Got compound security called on me yesterday. It was loud, but the gain stays together really well, articulates and doesn't fall apart.
