This Les Paul started life as a 2015 True Historic Murphy Aged R8. It was sent to Historic Makeovers where it received the full Deluxe makeover package.

HM redid the top carve, did a full refinish, added a Brazilian fretboard and a killer slim taper neck, patterned directly from a real 1960 burst that was in the HM shop at the time. The neck measures approximately .820” at first fret and feels great.

This guitar also has the HM upgraded ($500) vintage correct head stock logo.

Pickups are factory Custombuckers.

The finish was done as “Vintage Patina” and requested to be made so that it would age easily, as it has started doing. There are miscellaneous nicks and light scratches consistent with a lightly aged guitar. Looks great.

Both the Gibson and Historic Makeovers COA’s are included. As well as all other papers and True Historic metal toggle switch cover medallion.

This guitar was around $11k with the original purchase price plus the Historic Makeovers package, logo upgrade etc…

Since I’m getting into a vintage piece this week I’ll let this go for $6850 shipped PP FF. Can also do a local meet. This is well below typical pricing for these guitars.
