I have a lead on a 2020 Epi. Sig. JB Black Beauty w/ aftermarket Bigsby in excellent condition.

It doesn’t have original case or case candy, and also doesn’t have the original stop tailpiece.

I can buy as is for $866 out the door.

Given the price and details ,do you think it’s worth the asking price?

Here’s what it looks like.

It's a nice guitar but at that price point I'm looking at Japanese copies, not chinese/indonesian instruments. I guess if you need triple humbuckers you' only other option that I can think of off the top of my head is a 70's Greco which seem to go for 1200 and up or thereabout.

I have an Edwards 3 pickup Black Beauty. Paid $700 last year.

I guess I hadn't seen that model. I'm a huge Edwards fan. Thanks to getting into some Mike Bloomfield and listening to all the rig-talk guys with the LP love I wound up picking up an e-lp98 in vintage honey burst a month or so ago for $589+tax and shipping. I just wanted something different from my usual semi hollows and something cheaper I could use as a test platform for easy pickup swapping. Thing plays and sounds outstanding though I found the factory Duncan '59n a little dark for the guitar. No matter since I was planning on swapping pickups anyways. It's long tenon and the neck pocket could actually be called a work of art. One piece body, thick maple cap with a thin flame veneer. Pretty nice. Could easily become my number 1 once I get the pickups sorted out. My second Edwards guitar and my second killer Edwards! I wouldn't hesitate to give an Edwards three pickup model a look if that is what I was after.

It's old. An exact Gibson copy. Nitro finish, Gibson size bridge pins, truss rod nut. Great guitar.

Not mine but here's an old listing for the same model.. https://reverb.com/item/4822697-edwards-by-esp-edwards-les-paul-custom-black-beauty-3-pickup
