Yes, I've him-hawed about keeping it, it's an excellent example of GOOD Gibson QC, but I simply don't play it, and my SG carries the load.

I bought it brand new about 6 or so weeks ago from AMS.

*Upgraded Grover Locking Tuners.
*Gold Speed Knobs.
*Tonepros Locking Roller Bridge.
*Plain Truss Rod Cover.
Burstbucker 61R/61T pickups, all 4 pots push/pull for coil tapping, out of phase, and direct to jack tonal options. 60's neck profile. Smooth, fast, and comfortable.

Exceptional condition. Faint scuffs on the pickguard, pickup rings, and headstock from string changes. It's no featherweight, it's over 9lbs, easily in my estimation. Comes with case, original parts, and unmolested case candy/strap/multi-tool. I even kept the original packaging, so rest assured, it'll arrive as it would new.

NO TRADES. $1699 PPF&F. Shipping TBD.

How's the neck compared to your SG?
Slimmer, but still rounded. It's a 60's profile, vs. the SG's 50's rounded.

It is a slim taper, but I will say it has a little more meat than most slim tapers I've had. Of course being hand sanded, they're going to vary.

oh it's slimmer than the SG? Yeah, I would like the SG better too. I would love an SG with a rounded 50's. Mine is thin and flat, makes it feel wide too. I'd much prefer a rounded 50's.

They're pretty much the same width, but the 50's is going to have more beef. It's perfect to me, it's not '59 baseball bat fat, but a very comfortable in-between.

The LP definitely isn't thin. It's got shoulders, its more or less somewhat flatter.

I love my classic and I put grover locking on mine as well. Maybe i need to look at the tonepros bridge too. I would love to have this one since I have the ebony one but damn I've got too many builds that are finishing up over the next couple months.

Someone needs to jump on this

The stock ABR is a poor design, IMO. The strings lay on the back of the bridge, unless you jack the tailpiece up about 4 inches! The Tonepros roller gives you better string alignment, no worries about whether the saddles are notched correctly, and my tailpiece is flush to the body with plenty of string clearance. And the sharp break angle only gives that much better tuning stability.
