20th Shiva and Splawn 412 are a DREAM!!!!

I loaded two Celestion Chinese Greenbacks and two Celestion Lynchbacks into my Splawn straight front 412 and it is hands down the best sounding 412 that I have ever heard.

My Shiva.with my LP Standard through this are insane. Huge sounding and tight, with an amazing warmth and 3-D quality. Unreal.

Something about the Greenbacks add a beautiful warmth, compression and woody midrange that is a joy to play. The Lynchbacks add a deeper and tighter bottom, neutral mids and clear highs. I love it.

That's great you found a combination that works! 4x12's are just more fun to play than the 2x12's imho. I need to get some lynchbacks to try with some of my extra greenbacks. I've got 2 splawn 4x12's one with greenback reissues and the other with the EVH greenbacks. While the EVH sound better with some high volume I think I prefer the reissues at more moderate volumes. Playing a 20th anni XTC.
