Definitely thicker and more rounded, harmonically than the 101B. Someone used "chewy" to describe an amp. That fits here too. The green channel with the gain dimed is really ballsy. The blue channel is where I will stay most of the time on it. It is similar to the Shiva channel 2 in character and the Twin Jet channel 1 (on 34's). The red channel just flat out rips.

Bogner has held nothing back with this one. Very high quality build, down to the plexi panels. The head shell is so much better than that cane too. If the 101B don't get sold, I am going to do some surgery on that shell. I am also getting a matching head shell for the Shiva. Waiting on HQ to confirm.

V30's I think are going to be the best choice of speaker with the 20XTC and the Shiva. The cane on this cab has go to go too!

Yeah, you and Jaime had me gassing good. Man, this thing is all over the map with tone. Haven't got to really get it wrapped up yet, but I will tomorrow though. The A/AB is one thing I didn't want. Left it off and something else , not to save money, but to minimize the stuff I know I didn't want from having it on the 101.

I am still gushing over the Shiva with the 6550's in it too. These 3 amps got me covered all the way around though.

Left it off and something else , not to save money, but to minimize the stuff I know I didn't want from having it on the 101.

Killer tones, huh? Such breadth of vision from Reinhold...can just about do it all. Yeah, the Class A is nice for the vintage stuff, particularly with plexi mode engaged...it's a great sound, but I'm mostly in the modern rock zone anyways. I'm pretty well set with the 20th XTC and TJ, but I gotta admit you got me gassing for a Shiva now. The HOLY TRINITY!
