212 Cabinets?????

Hey all!!!!!!!

Has anyone used the new Egnater 212 cabinet??? Do you know the dimensions?

I have an Ear Candy Buzzbomb with Sugar Cone speakers. I am wondering the size difference, etc.

Im sure it sounds great but Im guessing its almost as big as the 4x12! My 1x12 is about the size of 2x12.
 
Wow, that big! I know Tim from Ear Candy who has experimented with all sizes of cabs and settled on his size for the 212 buzzbom. I thikn it is about 18' tall, 28" wide and really deep, 16" deep. It sounds good but sometimes I wonder how a taller cab would sound. I also have a smaller 212 with one handle for easy transport. Honestly, these days I just jam with guys in the basement and maybe the occassional little gig....so I am not looking for any more huge cabs or 412 sized cabs. :thumbsup:

You want the Egnater 1x12. I swear no one believes its a 1x12 unless they look at it closely. Its such a great cab and is so well mated with the MOD 50. To get such a big sound out of a box that is light and easy to carry makes it a big winner in my book. I use it on all my gigs as its my main cab.
 
Thansk Jeff! Itr sounds like the interior or cab space is about the same as the Ear Candy just proportioned differently. The Egnater is much taller where the Ear Candy is much deeper.

Matt, thanks for the tip. How much is the Egnater 112? I already have an Egnater 212 Boa that is easy to cart around so maybe I'll stay for now.
 
I dont remember how much it was. If you call the shop Im sure whoever answers could tell you quickly.
