Does anyone know of a 24 Fret, neck thru, American made, Super Strat that is being made currently, That's not a made by a major corporation? I 'm unable to find any small companies that build this type of guitar.

have you tried checking down a few categories and looking at the gutierrez forums?

Bingo. I'm still waiting for mine to finish being built. For their features, you can't beat their price.

Carvin, jackson, guitierrez. Basing your decision on where its made is retarded though, Ibanez and ESP make some very nice guitars, better than jackson IMO

^ agreed, caparison, if you don't have to pay daft UK prices- though granted in the UK you have to do that for jackson and esp too- are also pretty nice, the TAT is their neck-thru, i believe.

assuming i'm talking about the one you're talking about, i just wish it were available without the abalone everywhere, but still with the ebony board and composite neck... :aww: oh and if i'm being picky, without the reversed headstock...

Try the E HR 145 under the neck through menu

thanks... if i remember correctly it doesn't have the ebony board though... :(

i'll check it out, though. i don't think i've seen it for sale anywhere either...

EDIT: ah my mistake, that's a different one...it doesn't have the 27 frets (i'd never use them, but it's the principle of the thing...  )

My Carvin DC127c is the best super strat style guitar I have ever owned. I would put it up against any USA Jackson, Fender or Suhr.

It was short sited of me to only consider USA made guitars. I've owned an Ibanez Jem 777 and a Burlwood prestige. Even after having both set up, and having the frets polished they were still uncomfortable to play. I've only tried an ESP Mark II, which didn't impress me at all. Also I've never found any Jacksons I liked, which is why I ruled out Caparison(I read somewhere the TAT was basically a Soloist with different pickups, Same wood/design etc.) not sure though. I had the good fortune of coming across a Brian Moore MC/1 which has ended my search, for now. Thanks for all of your suggestions.

Send me the 777, I'll take that piece of junk of your hands

Neal Moser and Moser Custom Shop can do what you want. GMW is gearing up to start doing neck thru as well.
