2nd attempt Nailbomb->Mesa Triple Rectifier - a little act

Sounds kinda boxy. Where are you miking it on the speaker?

Regarding your site, the flash thing scrolls too fast for me. When I try to slowly move my mouse down, it starts scrolling through the songs so fast that I can't select the one I want.

I think I've overloaded the mids. I'm so used to the Herbert's thickness that I kept pushing the mids more & more up. It's either that or you are hearing the isobox, but my Herbert clips are with isobox too; do they sound boxy to you too?
I'll give it another shot sometimes next week, but overall I'm not digging the mesa for recording that much. I might exchange it for an Avenger & see how that one works.

Thanks for pointing out the website problem, I'll fix it when I have time for it.

The Herbert clips sound more cutting and like they're meant for being "in the mix," if you know what I mean. The Recto one sounds like it has a little too much midrange.

I ran the Mesa today for a little bit more & it got better, but it didn't sound thick enough for my taste. Then I plugged the Herbert in & I thought "why bother??!". So the mesa is up for sale. :D To be fair it mixed with the Herbert very well, in case you want to keep overall voicing the same & add some saturation & wideness, but I'm really tired of dealing with 100 tracks when mixing.

The second test is up. Someone buy this head before I find the magic combo!! :doh:
