3 weeks with the Herbert and still loving it!

I could have saved myself a lot of money if I would have found this amp 1st!!! I'm still just blown away with how much I'm loving this amp. I'm still having a hell of a time with getting the noise out with my G-System but for now I'm just dealing with it. I ordered a ISP Pro Rack G to quiet things down, I've got something wrong somewhere because there is no way I should be getting the hiss I'm getting, but oh well. When I sold my XTC the one thing about that amp I was going to miss was the blue channel, I've found that rolling the volume down on my Strat gives me close to the blue channel, a very soulful "bark" that I just love, and then put the volume back to 10 and heavenly sustane galore!! The cleans are beautiful and channel 2 gives a great crunch!! I will say playing this amp dry will make you a better player because it doesn't have much forgiveness, it really brings out my sloppy playing but thats a good thing! I dont see myself getting rid of this amp anytime soon , BUT I've said this before, I will say its not going any where any time soon. I can say I haven't been this happy in a long time!!!! Thank you Mr. Diezel!!

I have mine almost a year now and im still amazed by the amp. All tree channels are great. I do have a hard time picking wich lead channel, but it comes down to what ill be playing. For me its money well spent I recently went back to el34 sed powertubes, 6550 tubes where good but i like the el34 in the amp.

I would like to have a g-system, but the finance and the noice people get from using it is what held me back.

I use a little bit delay so i have a boss dd-7 in the loop. Havent used my wah for about 1,5 year but am planning to put it in the chain again.
