No, from what I can tell it seems like a 2 channel JCM800 type amp powered by 6x6550's. Some I've heard say they didn't care for it, but I'd still like to try one and see for myselfWhat is it? Is it kind of like a major/bass amp?
Once you get one I want to get one and Hermansson it haha- the YouTube clip sounded crazyNo, from what I can tell it seems like a 2 channel JCM800 type amp powered by 6x6550's making it 200 watts. Some I've heard say they didn't care for it, but I'd still like to try one and see for myself

I can believe it. Even some 4x6550 amps I’ve had have been rated from 160-200 watts. Getting a sextet of GE 6550A’s or any US 6550’s would be tough thoughThese were rated at 250w.
Insane.
Here's a thread on the Marshall forum...

And, before someone says "6550s can only put out....." No. A GE 6550 is a 42w tube.
Beast.
They're out there. The GE 6550 is one of the few true amazing sounding old school tube that, if you shop around have still remained reasonably priced vs say a vintage Mullard 34.I can believe it.
