It's hard to get a read on it with a few shit CL pics..
For 5G's I'd expect a few more closeup's..

Van Halen fans are out of control, they need a new band to listen to or pay more attention to their IROC-z or something
We need to talk about your future at rig talk...

LOL

The quilted maple used on many of the early Wolfgangs was pretty lame. My friend got one of the first ones and it had one ripple in the maple top. One.
Didn't the purple oxidize to green with prolonged exposure to sunlight? I thought I saw that mentioned in a sale of one of these some time ago. That models that had spent more time out the case in the light went green.

Probably the EBMM EVH signature. EB didn't have a UV blocker in the transparent color stains used for the EVHs. The early Axis productions
also had the same issue.

Ah yes, you are right, and thanks. The guitar I had seen for sale (about ten year ago now) mentioning that oxidizing issue was a Music Man. I forgot about the earlier MM EVH guitars completely. I must be getting old.

As far as I know the purple EBMM EVH guitars faded no matter what environment they were in. The purple Peavey Wolfgangs are still purple.

My understanding was something was wrong with the trans purple on the MM that when exposed to sunlight it would rapidly fade, so basically only case queens have the true color. I only bring it up because I recall that being the sellers claim i.e that most of them had turned green. I'm sure someone here will be able to clarify. I sure don't know shit about it other than liking purple quilt A LOT.

I have an original purple from 93 and it is still a very dark purple. Always sat in it's case though.

I also have a first year Peavey in purple lime this one we are talking about. 5K!!!!!!! I paid $800 for it way back.

Wahhhh
