6 strings Bass + Herbert + 4x12 v30 ???

Hi Guys,

I know this has been discussed before. I know that a bass can be played with the Herbert with no problem... and that you have to take care of the volume to not damage the speakers... ok

But my question is... Can I use my herbert with the Diezel 4x12 v30 (or G12K 100) ??? with no problem with a 6 strings bass... at least to play at home ??

I ask this cause I've bought a 6 strings bass (couldnt resist, although I dont play bass !!! ), and want to be 100% sure that I wont damage the speakers...

Peter, which would be the TOP volume I MUST NOT reach ??? Any input here would be really appreciated !!!

P.S. to all of you guys who has played bass with Herbert... which channel do you use with the bass ??? and any setup to share ?

I've got a VH-4 and I didn't try playing bass with it... yet... Of course, I love the Vh-4 with my guitars! Best Sound ever... I use it with a Mesa 2x12 (V30) but I'm not 100% happy with the sound of the Mesa. I tried a Marshall 4x12, really was more my kind of taste... I would like to try the new Cabs with the new speakers...

I don't know how the G12K100 will fit with bass... But if they do, then I have to sell some Trace Elliot Cabs and my Mesa

And? What about Lucy? Are you developing bass cabs, too?

By the way, did I say, that I love my VH-4? It's a dream... Keep up your work
