I hear a lot of players choosing the 6505+ over the standard 6505 simply because of the better clean channel and added eq section.

I'm looking pick up one of these heads, but what draws me to the 6505+ is the fact that it has an adjustable bias trim pot dial next to the power section, just like my JSX.

Does anyone have any experience with the 6505+ bias trim pot dial? Is there a noticable difference when you turn it like there is on the JSX? I like to push the poweramp and I find these trim pot dials to be just great for getting a little extra juice from the power section.

THX.

a little extra is all you'll get. IMO those dials (well, the 6505+ dial) doesn't do a whole lot...Even with it turned to the "hottest" setting, it's still biased pretty cold, IIRC. I noticed the volume went up a bit, but that was about it.
