Is this amp really worth $2,499? I saw one at a pawn shop with that price tag on it.

not at all, they should go for $800-1200. It is an early silverface though, cause 1967 was the transistional year. My buddy has a '67 Blackface Deluxe reverb and it sounds great.

Not worth $2500, IMO....

That's what I figured. This pawn shop is ridiculous with their pricing. They sell the junkiest, used, no name, Korean made, ugliest guitars for $150-$250. Anything with a name on the headstock is $500+.

Its possible it might still be blackface specs in silverface cosmetics but even then, that price is ridiculous. :gethim:

I gave one of my many sons my 69 deluxe and he loves it and refuse to even put a pedal in front of it. The 69 is worth some bucks maybe 1200 or so I think. Those old 20 watt fenders are the best. I still have my 20 watt Guild from 1959 and its the sweet deal of my life at $42 estate auction sale. The old 20 watt Guild go cheap cause they are not fenders. If you can find one they usually go for around 300 to 600 bucks which is cheap these days.
