68 Plexi for $7500 no gut shots

$6000 european dumble clone

That reminds me, you need to play a maz sr - this shit is right up your alley man
Isn’t it weird they haven’t listed any big details? For someone of their caliber, I was surprised by that…

I would guess they just wanted to get it up and listed quickly. If it doesn't sell really quickly, they will post gut pics.

“Relocated choke transformer”…because someone modded it and fucked something up?

They are getting paid for it and looking damn good doing it too. Don't be jealous cause some Tom, Dick, or Harry is out there rocking one of the Jimmy's you sold and making that sweet moolah to boot.

One lives in Australia

And the other two live in like bumfuck wyoming

None of those people are getting paid to play those fuckers 🤣🤣🤣

Emerald City is a very trustworthy source, but i'd still ask for guts.
On the Marshall forum, the few guys that REALLY know their vintage circuits will not agree. They aren't suggesting Emerald is crooked; but they do say they are less than totally honest about their vintage Marshalls.
Which is probably why they won't post gut shots, because most savvy vintage Marshall buyers will immediately post those on the Marshall or Metro or wherever to get a good assessment.
68s can run as much as 20k for a perfect condition, 12 series ala EVH. Kinda crazy, since that's what a 65/66 will cost but the EVH upcharge lol

Plus non original HS, 'replaced' capacitors...that could mean just the big can caps, or someone pilfered all the Mustards et al throughout the whole freakin amp and replaced them with orange drops or some non OG stuff.
Prolly some 'tech' who said to the owner 'Ya, those caps gotta go. They'll make the amp melt down.' Then, 'tech' lists all the mustards for 100$ each on eBay..along with the original XF2 Mullards and I63 pre tubes....
