6L6's in an Einstein?

Can I drop a set of 6L6's in an 50w Eini. What does it do soundwise? I play Jazz up to Classic Rock, no metal. I know that's a sin on this forum but thats what I play.

Sure you can and I think it might suit your style very good. Gives you better cleans and smoothers distortion. I liked the EL34 better (I used to have a Einstein) since I do almost only Metal but for cleans I liked better.
