I had my finger on the trigger last night, and then pulled back thinking that it was the bourbon telling me that I needed one of these. Still feel like I need one today!

Send me a PM with the order details (if you still have one on hand) and I can get the payment out today. Otherwise, it will be Friday. Traveling to Columbus tonight for the Govt Mule / Dark Side of the Mule show on Wednesday!

My 808 arrived today. Great pack job, cool box, and a little bit of swag inside! Can't wait to give it solid run through tonight.
awesome !!! let us know what you think !!

I know. Slacking on the review.

So far, I like it very much. Have only tried it as a boost so far, but it has more output and low end compared to my go to SD1, and it has more flexibility with the switches and tone knobs. After some tweaking, I can get it to sound pretty close to an SD1 but the Imperial has a tighter and bigger bottom that was working great into the SLO Synergy I was running over the weekend.

I still prefer the SD1 for the super saturated stuff, but the Imperial will stay on the board for everything else at the moment. I tend to dial in for a mix so there is less low end in my tone than most I would think, and when I start really getting the gain up there, the extra bass cut of the SD1 works better for me. For boosting an amp for rock, hard rock, and some metal though, the Imperial has been great!

Next will be to run it in front of something cleaner to see what the gain knob can do.
