...so my 80's band has added 'Unchained' and 'Lay it Down' but I'd like to add a couple more songs in drop D to make bringing another guitar worthwhile. Any ideas?

Motley Crue - GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS
That song is a BLAST to play and Drop D.

Ratt- Your in love

well it's not 80's (it's '91 lol) but "Skid Row - The Threat" is a killer drop D song and one of my favorite riffs to play. also "Ratt - Lack of Communication" is a fun and simple one in drop D.

Crue songs (pretty much all of them) are tuned a full step down to D (DGCFAD) not just drop D.

Fat-Bottom Girls.............always a hit in the pub.

+1 Crue is D standard.

Everything I could think of was in the first two.

You're in Love
Unchained
Lay it Down

And, yeah, I thought Crue was all D standard.

Isn't Unchained a half step down a.k.a drop c#?

yup it sure is. and if you're going that low you might as well play "Alice in Chains - We Die Young" and really get people going crazy since it's in the same tuning.

Them bones, Unchained, Lay it down, your in love, Dogman! Do them all in a row and look out!
