This is a clip from our band recorded in 89. It´s
an 8 track recording and I had cutted it for a maxi version.
It´s a cover song and the used amps are Marshalls
which I burned with the solder iron.

Please forgive us the Kraut English :scared:

Nice song!
I like the part where the riff of the 1st verse enters, very mean
Do u sing backing vocals in this version?

really good. Thought I don`t like this kind of stuff anymore....
tuedletue ...Lovestealer ....tuedletue

O.k., that really sounds like the 80s. ;)

But I tell you what. The more I listen to that kind of sound, the more I like it. No, maybe I should say ,the more I love it. After grunge, nu metal, punk rock and some other styles we have overcome its time to put up those good ole 80s metal kings. Randy Rhoads, Winger and Dokken rulez!!!!

Cheers Otto

Thanks guys, this kind of music is no more my favourite.
Just wanted to give You an idea about the early Marhall mods
and the non hard disk recording.

Thanks for listening

That Marshall sounds AWESOME, it's what I'd like a Cameron to sound more like....would you mod me a marshall like that if I said please alot haha.

For real though, I don't know how close a vh4 comes to that sound or how much you changed, but if you made a Diezel like that I would buy it in a heartbeat. I'd like a more vintage 80's sounding amp to go with my Herbert because I like dabbling in that sound sometimes. The Herbert can do it, but not as good as an amp that just kinda does that type of sound. If not, I'm Cameron bound, which isn't a bad thing, that clip reminded me of a Cameron that traded a higher frequency response somewhere in the sound for a slightly lower more grindy one.

Hi Peter,
let me add a few words. I you re thinking this song sounds awful, bizarre or kind of strange, you´re wrong. I think it´s a cool piece of music. Not ambarassing at all. ´
Cheers Otto

Don´t got You wrong Otto. Just wanted to share a bit of "glam-hairspray-mainstream".
We don´t would get any deal with this music today, but at this time we thought to
have the world best guitar sound. Today it sounds like it´s coming from a phone speaker.

Have a nice weekend,

Peter :D

Oh Peter, you´re wrong!

It´s still one of the best guitar sound. I would do everything to get a Marshall like this. 80´s tuned.

Dreamsound!!!! :inlove:

Edit:

Is it a JCM800?

On guitarsound I say : Accept - Balls To The Wall.

Exactly what I was thinking! Reminds me of Wolf Hoffman's tone on Balls & Metal Heart.

peace,

Amazing guitar sound. Can you remember how loud that Plexi was when recording those rhythm riffs?

We had it on moderate volume, but connected the DI
with an Ampeg SVT stack to fill the room.
