I just have a few questions about the MOD 100 I just purchased from Jeff Hilligan. He had a death in the family and I don't want to bother him with questions. If I run a dual channel module in my single channel head what channel works on the module? What footswitch will work with the single channel MOD 100's? Are there any single channel modules that can hang with an EG5?

Channel A on your dual channel modules is what you will hear.

You can use any midi pedal to control it. Or, any purpose-built footswitch designed to be used with Eggie/Randall modular that uses a midi cable as its connector.

There are lots of fantastic single channel modules - what tones are you chasing?

Head over to the MTS forum and look at some of the modded modules. There are tons of great tones to be found there. I'm loving my Grail module right now, which is the Lynch series take on a recto channel.

I have been through many amps over the last few years and the MOD50 with the EG5 is my favorite high gain voicing ever. I'm really after a tight and heavy tone.

Can't argue with that!
