A Little Ratt Play-Thru -- Never Use Love

Been wanting to learn to shoot video of song play thrus and then edit them for YouTube. This was shot with GoPro camera and guitar tracks recorded into Reaper (DAW).

All guitars recorded from Axe FX - 2 rhythm tracks panned hard left and right. Solo up the middle along with the actual recording turned down a bit.

Fun learning the process.


 
Wow that sounds really good. You post this on Axe Exchange? What was your preset for this?

The patches are available on the AxeChange. They are uploads from Leon Todd - 2112. The left side rhythm is a Mark IIc+ that he loaded with slight tweaks and the right side rhythm is his 5153 patch - the red channel. I added a TS808 boost and a stock compressor in the axe at the front of the signal chain for this patch. The solo is this same setup and I added a bit of delay in Reaper to give it some width. Also, in Reaper I added low pass filters at 150hz for all guitars.

I used an Axe-FX3 with the most current firmware loaded.
