Hello,

I'm French and I envisage to buy a VH-4 head in e few month (I still miss a little of money... :aww: ) and I'd like to have some details:
is it possible to buy directly at you manufactury, because I'd like some mods on the VH-4?

The mods I'd like are:
_replacing the MIDI input by the retrofit kit of Prostage (XLR) to plug one of their controller in the head 'like the X05 or X07)
_put 2 different pairs of tube if it's possible (2 EL34 + 2 6550)
_a colored face of the VH-4 like blue (like before) or purple (my favorite)

if all these mods are possible and if it's possible to buy directly at you manufactury....can you tell me what would be the price? Could you even sell the VH-4 directly with a Prostage controller (soory but the colombus is to expensive for me, and anyway, it's too much for the use I'll need) like you seem to work together (on their site they talk about direct use on Herbert heads and about the mods to do on the VH4...?

Oh oh, it seems that I cannot satisfy Your needs.

We don´t sell from the factory.
We don´t recommend prostage.
The VH4 has only one bias pot.
We don´t have coloured faceplates.

I know that sounds not nice, but try to send another email

:D oh ok....no problem....it does'nt matter, the VH-4 is quite wonderfull with its standard specs!!!!! :yes:

So what do you think about tech21 controllers like the MIDI moose? I'm looking for a controller, quite secure and with at least 8 controls (1x8 or 2x4 or 2x5) and not too expensive (about 200euros for the MIDI moose is quite good)....Do you have other controllers te recommand?
