This song is just killer on so many levels.. Sick tone, Great groove, Thumping bass line, Great solo, and suggestive lyrics that made my teenage brain take notice when I heard this back in the late 80's .... Metal at its finest . After all these years this album ( Balls to the Wall ) still holds up quite well !

 
Gibson and Marshall..hard to f that up tone-wise....Udo is a bit of an acquired taste...
 
That was a sweet Marshall, Id give my left nut to play that amp through 4 cabs CRANKED in a big room..

Was that the Larry modded or Steavens modded? Crazy....

According to the interview I read, BTTW was an early 70s stock super lead, with an MXR Dist + in front....through greenies.

there it is!!! i remember seeing that ebay listing. should have went for it. it was at least a few grand band then.
so cool, and yes accepts tone was and still is excellent. Wolf wrote so many great riffs. They had so many good metal hooks too. they're one of my favorite classic metal bands.

Never forget watching The Italian movie Demons around ‘85 or so, on VHS and hearing Fast As a Shark for the first time, as a guy and a girl race on a dirt bike through a movies theater trying not to be torn apart. That was my intro to Accept. Whole movie had a great soundtrack. Had me hunting through the credits for the song list.

I dunno, I have all that stuff. That tone just isnt there. The earlier stuff, sure.

Agree, I’m definitely not hearing a superlead with a Distortion plus for the BTTW album. Restless and Wild, Breaker etc is more like it for that sound.
 
Holy shit, just did a search for what Udo’s doing and he still has it in a big way. Also loving these glorious “actual” drums. That’s a real fucking snare right there!
