Mrs. Totally Bored says ”it would be painful”

I don’t think she understands the magnitude

Had to check. Been 17 years since his reality show debuted.
He was old and getting plastic surgery all of the time back then.

Must really look like bloody hell these days!

For anyone interested..this thread is supposed to be a dig at me. A few years ago, I hired Eric Johnson to play at my birthday party. It was a large event. Over 400 people attended. I rented a huge tent, had food and beverages along with a beer stand. We sold the beers and the invitations to this event were clear. No presents. I asked for charitable contributions for our County Humane Society. At the end of the night I donated $57,000 to the Humane Society. I invited local TGP and MyLesPaul members to the event. Between the 2 boards around 20 people showed up. We actually had closer to 500 people there total.

We had the event in the front yard of my manufacturing facility. The weather was perfect and I believe a lot of people had a really good time.
I did ask Eric if I could play a few songs with him.. His manager had me send him an MP3 of some of my stuff. He said OK. I have to admit, I was thrilled. Eric has been an important influence for a long time.

Commenting on the cheap dig by our anonymous TGP members.. Eric and I practiced the songs at sound check that I played with him that night

. He signaled me when to come in and when to back away. If you ever hear his version of Redhouse with Vai and Satriani you would've rethought your lame comment.

Last, I am not a Kiss fan. EJ was the only musician I ever wanted to play with.

I remember your very generous offer of free tickets to this event.....I would have taken you up if it wasn't a 10 hour or so drive each way.

Looks like it was awesome, and that us a ton of money you raised for charity! Kudos.

If you would have told the story like that, no one would have laughed.

Too bad you tried to couch it in a thread titled something like "What's your favourite musical experience" and your first post was "Playing with Eric Johnson" and you tried to twist it into sounding like you gigged with him when in fact you hired him and sat in on one song.

Even that wasn't all that bad all by itself but it was one in a series of bragging posts where you twisted the truth in order to build yourself up with "little white lies" that weren't so little or so white.

I built my company...no, you inherited your company. To your credit at least you didn't run it into the ground.

I was a Vietnam era vet. You wanted it to sound like maybe you were a rifleman in the DMZ In truth you joined too late and ate schnitzel in Munich for your up. But you had to invoke an obscure government designation that you barely fell into to make it sound like you were Rambo. That wasn't stolen valor but damn you could see it from there. You even had the Vietnam Era Vet on your company website. Remember, the one you designed that looked like it was done by an 8 year old. Good thing you hired someone to clean that mess up.

Check out my latest Patent. Uhh, ya, the only reason your name was on it was because you owned the company. You didn't invent shit.

ALL those threads were deleted by you when the actual truth came out and you got the shit you deserved. Gawd, even the people in your shit hole home town, by your own admission, flip you the bird when you drive down the street. Lol.

And ALL OF THIS WAS POSTED BY MINTY at TGP. He posted it himself. Absolutely no doxing going on here. All of it self published by the Mint. You won't find it now of course, he shit canned the threads out of shame. I stressed all that because I know you'll report this cuz that's your style. If I get an infraction because of it, it'll be totally worth it for everyone here to know who you really are.

I could go on but I'm done with you. You should tell everyone the story about the kid who scratched your wife's car at the dealership while cleaning it after getting a service. The dealer did the right thing, called you (the dreaded call), promised to make things right and all you did was threaten retaliation to 'make sure that kid never worked in town again'. Ya, Minty Treehorn draws a lot of water in that town and damn you'd better know it. Asshole.

You really must live a pathetic life... Most of your nonsense is simply incorrect. The dreaded call was something we call humor.

By the way, who do you post as on TGP... I am not banned there. I just prefer here.

Don't sweat it brother. Pay no attention to mentally ill alcohol/drug addict that is posting out of pure jealousy and hatred for those happier than him. He's probably drunk already today.
Cool story. I'm glad you had the experience and now have the memories!

Good on you for that - that is awesome and really cool you were able to do that.
