Can anyone suggest some affordable but reliable programmable MIDI foot switches for my D-Moll?

The Columbus is $599. All I want to program is for switching channels settings, effects loop on/off, mid-scoop on/off, and solo boost.

I used a Randall Rm4 (I think that is what it is called) when I had Dmoll, 4 button midi footswitch. cost me $35 !

Check out Tech 21 Midi Moose.

Also, I don't believe channel settings are programmable.

That sounds like something I can use for the mean time. What did you program it to do?

Ah, too bad the settings aren't programmable. I wasn't sure because the D-Moll manual said that any setting on the front panel is ignored when a footswitch is used, so I figured it could store channel settings. I won't get the amp until Thursday so I haven't really committed to learning the manual yet.

I saw the Midi Moose and several others on Musician's Friend but have little experience with MIDI footswitches. I was looking at the Engl Z9 which seems like a nice mid priced MIDI controller that is not too bulky and has just enough switches for my uses. I'll check Midi Moose out though. Thanks for the help.

+1 on the Midi Moose. Cheap and easy to use.

I also use the Midi Moose (with my Herbert) and it works well and was easy to set up!
