Aged, sparkle Pelham Blue SG…NGD

This is not one for the faint of heart…

You take a 2012 SG Standard 61 RI in Pelham Blue, rough it up a little…shoot a sparkle finish over it…rough it up some more!!

The aging and paint was done by GUITARWACKY. I bought this direct from them.

Why?

The color. The finish. The aging. It just looks sweet!!! It’s a SG!!

Anyway, it’s more than a pretty face. It sports it’s original 57 classic pups and they sound AWESOME!!! The neck is a 60s slim. It sets up really well. Great action and playability all the way up the neck. It’s super light too!!!

That’s awesome! I got a Strat from Guitarwacky a few years ago, that guy does some of the coolest relic/refinishes around! I tried to get him to do custom work but at the time he said he wasn’t doing work on anything except the guitars he sells.
