Albums/tracks/EP's recorded with Hagen

So a while ago I embarked in a quest of recording and mixing an album entirely by my own. Just finished tracking the instruments and soon it will be time to lay down the vocals. I started the recording with an Einstein and in the meanwhile I bought the Hagen. After that, the aesthetics of the tracks that remained to be tracked really changed for something better because this amp is capable of doing so many different styles so well that the album ended up becoming very diverse. While playing a track to a friend he asked me how many amps I had used for that particular track. And the answer was: 1, the Hagen.

As the time for mixing will start (hopefully) soon, I was wondering if you guys could leave here some examples of albums, tracks, EP's etc that had been recorded with the Hagen. Haven't heard much of this amp played by other people in a full mix context.

This is awesome news. I'm on your soundcloud site a lot, just letting the tracks play in the background. You've got some awesome hooks and surprises in your tunes - terrific stuff.

Hagen offers a helluva lot of tones and they're all wicked. Key is getting 'em through the mic - I know you're using the TwoNotes gear, might be the way of the future as the amp still sounds like a Hagen through and through.

Unfortunately not everything was tracked with a real cab/speaker due to the limitations of the noise etc. I was initially very skeptical with the impulses thing, but I have to say that the cabinet impulses are getting pretty close to the real deal. Just think of them as the analogues to vst plugins when coming down to outboard such as compressors, eq's etc. There is plenty of software nowadays that can capture a lot of the character of the analogue gear. The same is going on with the cabinet impulses. My only limitation with those is that when using a dummy load, I keep the master levels in the amp really low in order not to damage the tubes and/or amp.

Cuz it's fresh territory. It's not comfortable like the Herbert or the VH4... It's new terrain
