I need some advice. I just got a new modern with Aldrich pickups and these pickups really rock. I have another guitar that I would like to consider putting a set of these in. It is a koa top with chambered mohagany body with maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Anyone think this would work out?

I don't see why it wouldn't be great ?!?

I emailed Ed Yoon once and he said the Aldrich was wound to be hot, but also the balance allows the tonality of the wood to really shine through !

If you think in any way that your current pickup is masking the tone of the wood, the Aldrich should take care of that right away ....

Good Luck !

Is the Mahogany /Koa combination giving you a fatter deeper unplugged tone compared to Alder ?
