Am I putting too much pressure on my RM50?

I have a RM50 combo. I just swapped out the 16 ohm G12T75 for a 8 ohm G12K100. I now can run the combo speaker in the main speaker out and then push my TM2X12 with the ext. out. I did drop the ohms on the amp down to 4 ohm to compensate for the two 8 ohm loads.

Am I damaging or putting any additional strain on anything by doing this?

nope

two 8 ohm loads equal 4 ohms...so you are fine.

That is what I thought. I just wanted to double check. Thanks.

Agree with Eric, no problem at all. How does it sound so far??

The K100 seems to be a touch brighter than the Elite 80's in the TM2X12. They mix very well and I am happy. The Grail delivers and now I need to pick up a hot rodded Marshally type module. My Deluxe module has me covered for cleans.
