Sounds amazing Mark but while I respect your work, my personal opinion is that your friggin fingers bring so much to the table when it comes to the Eddie sound.. I think my fingers would bring out a less desirable shade of brown if you know what I mean LOL!!!

Thanks!
okay, here is a client of mine with his amp.

 I absolutely love your clips.
To get this guy to play on the clip, and to still end up with the same darn tone, string definition, amp characteristics etc... Man that is some endorsement of your work shining through.
I know every one has their own opinions, ears, and what not, (YMMV) but all of mine is positive for your amp work buddy. And your playing.
Now, with the EVH tone sacked, if you go and get all country on us.. then you might not be selling amps at that point....

That was pretty bad ass and yeah that guy seems to have the same amounbt of EVH mojo and obsession that you do LOL!!!

Was there anything added in recording? verb? delay? what speakers?

Im really digging this ....

cool man!
its interesting all the comments and understandable as well to a degree BUT being a guitar player i understand how how guitar players feel the instrument ya know? so to say "its not going to sound like that when i play it" is kind of stretching it in that if you can play you will appreciate not only the sound but the feel and response of the amp.
on the other hand it isn't going to make you a guitar player only help in your quest, as guitar players do, to evoke the tone you are looking for. further more the amp doesn't only do van halen, its a good sounding Marshall, period. ;)

a 57 in front of a 25w england made greenback into a 002r into protools and i pushed record. no eq, normalizing, double track etc. was used. verb added after the fact.
