Jason, how do you mic your 112? Any differences due to the diffuser??

I don't mic it,it's my living room furniture/air refreshiner :lol: :LOL: as far as a diffuser i dont recall seeing any of that in there :confused:
 
Hmmm, I thought it was a little sponge like deal on the inside of the grill that dampened some of the beaming........maybe Jeff will chime in.

Ya,I don't recall seeing that.

I must have an earlier model!Still sounds KILLA :rock:
 
The diffuser is the "tone bra". Jason you must have one. Have you taken the front grill off? It basically tames high end, especially good for close micing the center of the cone. Still alot of presence but not harsh.

I took the grill off and no "bra".Does yours have the "bra"?Kinda sounds "Marleyish"a bra :lol: :LOL:
