Amp problem! Help!!! -solved-

So I was rehearsing with my band last night, when my amp started crackling and cutting out.

Checked every other piece of equipment, it's definitely the head.

I have a VH-4.

None of the tube fault lights were on, wasn't any warmer than normal as far as I could tell.

Please help. Staticky crackling and cutting out was intermittent, then gradually worse as I tried to figure out where the problem was coming from.

Does it do it with the master volume turned all the way down?
If it does then it is power tube that's going to go bad at some point.

Tighten your tube clamps

Thanks for the advice guys. Opened her up and tightened the tube clamps. Also recognized a broken solder on a tube fault light. No tube fault, but I'll be watching for one. Scared me when I put it back together I had no front panel buttons, but as soon as I plugged my g-system back in, they all came back and its working great again!
