First, thanks to Brad for taking the order and getting me the amp that I always wanted. Thanks for putting up with my constant queries as to it's status, etc. And thanks for putting up the dough to get the amp here as fast as possible!
Second, thanks to Peter Diezel for building such an awesome amp...and for signing it to your's truly. This is truly a beautiful amp, and I will treasure it forever!!!
Third, I want to thank my friend and fellow Rig-Talker, John. We've been doing a lot of back and forth with the PM's waiting for each other's amps, etc. Here it is bud! It's awesome, just like you said it would be .
Wanted to put up some pics. Sorry for the poor quality, I don't have a camera and had to use my Macbook with iPhoto. The stupid thing flips the image...unless you specify otherwise like I did on the last one. I'll get some better pics when the wife gets home...she's got a nice digital camera and can do this beauty justice.
I've had to work today, so haven't had any time to put this thing through it's paces. But my first impressions are that it is huge. I had some idea of how big it is, but nothing prepared me for seeing it in person. Next, it's beautiful. The build quality is obvious. It looks as if no expense was spared on the selection of parts, etc. and that it was assembled with care. If this thing sounds half as good as it looks, and I'm sure it does, then I'm not going to know what to do with myself. At some point I'll have to go to bed, but I won't be able to.
Anyway, here's some pics...
