I LOVE the lead tones on Imaginations From The Other Side especialy!! I think it was an ENGL savage or powerball?

Andre makes the BEST usage of Wah pedal ever :rawk: :rawk:

and his harmonies are the best

Great player, has some unique note choices that set him apart. I have a few Blind Guardian discs...Nightfall In Middle Earth, Imaginations From the Other Side, Tales From the Twilight World.

Andre' was featured on Guitar World's "bet you can't play this" a while back but I can't seem to find it on their site or YouTube even.

I loved BG for a little while. I think that he has some very cool little lute like passages; very similar to Irish folk music. The wah has become his thing, but it is a little over done. He obviously loves Brian May.

Well.. BG is like a power metal version of Queen

which is BAD ASS. :rawk: :rawk:

I wouldn't say he makes the "best" use of the wah. He uses it on 99% of his leads and melodies. I do like how he uses it, he's not like Hamster just fiddling around with it like a moron. He actually knows what he's doing. I prefer guys like Mike Amott and Schenker for "best" use of the wah. They're more expressive with it. But yeah, Andre is a very good player.

Excellent player, excellent band. I love the way he uses the wah and same with Michael Ammot as the person above me said

EDIT/BUMP: even though they have lots of good original material, here's one of the best covers ever that some people need to hear, it's from the Holy Dio tribute from mostly european bands released in 2000.
