If faced with the first world problem of wanting to simultaneously run 8 and 16 ohm cabinets from a single amp, it looks like this device may be a good solution. In fact I think it's the only option other than obtaining a second power amp/load box, etc.

Assuming one 8 ohm and one 16 ohm cab, there are two hook up options
Amp speaker output 1 into 16 ohm cabinet
Amp speaker output 2 into the Z-matcher set to 16 ohms
Amp impedance set to 8 because it's seeing two 16 ohm loads
Z-matcher speaker output set to 8 ohms into 8 ohm cabinet
Or by reversing the cabs:
Amp speaker output 1 into 8 ohm cabinet
Amp speaker output 2 into the Z-matcher set to 8 ohms
Amp impedance set to 4 because it's seeing two 8 ohm loads
Z-matcher speaker output set to 16 ohms into 16 ohm cabinet
Anyone have feedback on this Z-matcher unit?
