Another macbook messing around clip

Maybe you know. How the hell in imove do you get it to keep the level of what I am using the same. I can only post short clips like this cause once I start playing any longer is then drops and sounds like I am moving aroung. Which I am not.

email sent.

I think it has to do with the input level on the built in mic, which is in the system prefs. Not in iMovie itself...

Am always stunned by how good the recording sounds on the MacBook cam..samhill posted some stuff doing the sameway...it sound great.

I wonder if there is an issue with "ambient noise reduction" and input level...check in your System Preferences->Sound and turn it off...if it's already off..click it on and then off again ;)

Is that on the new macbooks? Not sure if mine has that... could be wrong though, I'm at work on a desktop comp right now...

I thought all the new Intel macs with teh bezel cam supported it...could be wrong tho' ... in the early days (of last operating system and this feature...whatever cat was last) the driver had a couple of bugs...one where it would drive the volume to feedback levels trying to compensate for the sound coming out of the internal speakers and another where it just wouldn't hold the input gain settings....

Edit: Another possibility is audio sync problem. Not sure how you're recording but try turning off high quality video preview in iMovie..
