Brad (rareguitar) made the trek from RI all the way to Cornwall, ON Canada on Thursday to have his new rig wired up. I gigged on Thursday night at a big outdoor festival and Brad was super kind and helped me out with some lifting.
We started the rig at 8:30am Fri and finished around midnight with an hour break for dinner.
In the rack he has a Furman power conditioner, Decimator ProRack G, TC G-Major, a GCX Switcher and a pedal tray that contains a MXR Zakk O/D, MXR EVH Phase 90, MXR EVH Flanger, Psionic Lumos, and a Suhr MiniMix.
The pedalboard has a Zakk Wah, an EB 25k Vol pedal, Ground Control Pro, and a Peterson Strobostomp. We used Mogami cable and Neutrik ends, everything on the tray was secured with 3m Dual Lok.
I had a blast putting this together and the end result was better than expected. It just dripped of tone, it was like the strings were going to fly off the guitar and the amp was going to explode(in a good way!).

It was a real pleasure working with Brad and he is a 100% gentleman and good guy.

The video does not do the actual tone justice but gives a little idea what was going on.
The comment about the tone sucking Pedalsnake was pure sarcasm...the thing sounds just fine with no noticeable tone loss to my ears and makes for a great easy to setup little system.

Awesome job on that rack, That thing sounds massive.

Hey Guys,

I just made it home from Canada after a brief pit stop in Philly for the guitar show. First let me say that Mark and his wife were the coolest and treated me like family when I was in town.

It was a trek but the trip was worth it! (about 14 hours round trip and one International border crossing). I got in Thursday evening and Mark hooked me up with a stage access pass and I got to see Mark and his band (Sam Hill Band) play a outdoor festival gig to about a thousand people that night and they rocked it.

Marks clips sound awesome online but it person it is 10X better! and his live sound is HUGE through the PA! He is a fabulous player as well which doesn't hurt!

The next day (Friday) I met Mark at 8:30 am at his studio and we began the process of building a MONSTER! Mark worked his ass off soldering and wiring and getting things right. He really loves doing it but it was a ton of work! We were finally ready to final sound check it around 11pm that night which is what you hear in the YOU TUBE link

We just couldn't believe the tones we were getting out of the rig through the little 2x12 Randall cab. The clip above does not do it justice IMO. We were really surprised at how bad ass it sounded and I think Mark will agree it is one of the best sounding rigs he has done yet.

I have been playing it all day today and it just kills. Thanks again Mark for being cool and putting in the work to get it right! And yes the Pizza was "The Best in the WORLD"

IMO John Suhr and the guys at Custom Audio Amplifiers ought to get Mark a sponsorship deal. I bet he has sold more OD-100 SE+'s than anyone on the planet with his YOUTUBE clips of the amp. I would of never bought one (or known too) with out his clips and I think that is true of several other guys on this forum alone.

Anyway thanks brother! I appreciate it. Here she is at home after several hours of me manhandling her ;)

Brad

Here are a pics of the rig and one shot I took at Marks show thursday night.

Thanks for the kind words Brad, like I said I had a blast. It was great meeting you Brotha, eh!
That thing must be crazy with two 4x12's!!!!

BTW Brad is a great player and he will put this tone to very good use :)

If you ever come back you will get to eat POUTINE!!!

Yes that was a very nice video Mark. I have been loving my Od100Se+ for over 2 years. I have simular setup. Od100se+, mini mix, g-major. The patches you posted Mark of you VH delays are insane. I was messing with them this weekend. The OD100 is a very verstile amp. I believe one needs to spend a few days with it and it just gets better by the day.
