well they're luthier / hand made; but yet another social media guitarist sig (not sure if he still does, but Rhett had a touring band or was a hired gun guitarist that toured) - but more known for his social media efforts IMO

I knew he played them, didn’t know that was his sig though. I like Rhett, I’m subbed to his channel, I find his videos entertaining and informative. If his success in turn leads to a small company like novo blowing up, I think it’s cool

Novo guitars are great. I had a client that I maintained and set up several of his Novo's and do a few pickup swaps. They're fun guitars and something way out of the ordinary. Makes you play and do things a bit different.

That being said, I blocked Rhett Shull years ago because he had the cringiest click bait type content. Upon seeing this guitar, I'm not sure I'll unblock him anytime soon.

To me, yes. Looking now, his YouTube channel has 700k subscribers and 153 million total views alone. Add all the videos he’s in with Beato, whatever other social media he is on and he has hundreds of millions of views. I would not know of Novo guitars if not for him, as I’m sure probably literally tens of thousands of others. Shit, how many now scrolling here tonight are gonna learn of them now seeing this thread?? If he’s gonna make a company money as I’m sure he did for them and others, he should get a cut

Novo's are very well known guitars that can sell very fast. They're just not catered toward the rig-talk guys lol. On tgp I bet most guys know them well. They have almost 100k followers on Instagram. I owned 3 of them and was able sell them all very fast and make good profits on them. They're trendy guitars, but I don't expect they'll stand the test of time long term. IMO very nice guitars, but not to me top tier
 
Very nice guitars (of the 3 I owned), but imho overrated in terms of how liquid they are on the used market, but not overpriced imo. I think guys love their looks and they at least are very good guitars where it actually counts, just not imo top tier. It would be cool to see better players get signature guitars, but it looks cool either way and I like gold foil type pickups
