So can 'Clean 1' get dialed in pretty closely to a 'Blackface' clean?

I was MORE than satisfied with my dual TWIN module when I had my M4; it was the only amp whose clean sound would have made me let go of my Super Reverb reissue with no regrets.
 
short answer? yes.

i dime everything, save for channel master.

this channel will let you know quickly if you have the right reverb tube in there too!!!!!

man i miss my tourmaster. still working on getting that power plant out of there to exchange it, and doing it right and documenting where EVERY wire goes without taking volts across my chest.

Is this a transformer upgrade, or was there a problem with the stock one?
 
not sure. my amp quit working. did the power amp test, and it kept frying tubes.

nate suggested to pull the Power plant transformer and ship it. truth be told, i have been doing one wire every 3 days since about a month ago....documenting and making sure i have EVERYTHNING right. so its taking a lot of time. im a nervous nellie inside of there, and, well, it just takes time.

yes, i miss my tubes.
