another type of modular...

Since Kiteboarder asked to hear some of the analog/ modular stuff I do sometimes through my egg, here are some mp3s ranging from the mild processing to the extreme. the 4100 is used a good amount in most of these...... I can't fully remember 100% which is which though :)

some of this stuff is rough.. some slightly more polished...

What are those Moog pedals like? Are they any good? What kinds of things do they do? I have been thinking of getting some but I am not sure.

Do they make anything that is like an audio slicer, or that makes a guitar sound like a synth?

I absolutely must get something MOOG. Have you watched the documentary?

Fascinating dude that guy. A real sonic pioneer if there ever was one.

I think I'll check out their website. I tried the Boss slicer but didn't like it. Odd for me because I like the Boss stuff a lot as you can see from below. I do think a slicer-like thing would be fun, although the Loop Station will do some slicer-like things.

The MuRF and Analog Delay are my favs. I've been running white or pink noise through the MuRF to create really great electro-indie sounding loops. And the guitar sounds great through it too!!

The thing for me that really makes the MoogerFoogers stand out is the analog quality and how warm they sound - how many solid state pedals have a great sounding clip/overload? I can't think really think of any others . . .
