So is a Rev green Uber just one of the earlier Rev 2's with a green light or is it a different amp all together? Because my amp says Rev 2, but has a green light. I am being told its a rev green because of that but I can't find much info on the Rev green.

All Rev 2's have a green light, AFAIK. There was an earlier, original Uberschall but I'm pretty sure it had a red pilot light and a rubber carrying handle.

^^Thats about the same info I found as well. So is there really such a thing as a rev green??

It's almost always called Rev 2 (and Bogner calls it a Rev 2) but you can safely assume that the Rev Green=Rev 2.

As I understand it, the names of the revisions green and blue come from the color of their PCBs. Bogner changed from the green boards used in the original and Rev. 2, to the blue boards used in the Rev. Blue.

I have always understood Rev. Green to be the first two versions (original with fast-taper gain pot, and Rev. 2 with gradual-taper gain pot), and Rev. Blue to be the brighter-voiced version with blue LED pilot light.

I know the Uberschall has gone through some changes since I bought mine new in '04, but I'm still digging the vicious tones from my Rev. 2!
