Thinking about getting a Diezel again, having owned an Einstein in the past. I traded the Einstein for a Les Paul worth 1.5-2x more so I couldn't say no, but it's the only amp I've owned out of MANY that I would like to own again, or at least another Diezel. The Einstein was super raw and fat, and I'm thinking it might be good to try a VH4/VH2 for something a little different and tighter.

Of course the VH4 is absolutely legendary and the VH2 is basically supposed to be a cut down version, but tonally how different is the VH2? I'm guessing it's probably at least closer to 'that' sound from VH4 ch3 than the Einstein is, right?

Excellent choice. If you can afford it, why not get the 4 channels.

Channel 4 is the best time for solos I’ve ever heard . That’s actually my fav part of Vh4
Ch4 seems almost a bit too extreme for me but I'll have to spend more time with it for leads

I haven't played all of them, but very carefully considered buying each one. The VH4 was quite a bit out of my budget, and I was wanting something a bit more modern/engineered, and not really wanting to compromise with a VH2. I got the Hagen :D
