Stop in a pawn shop today, they have an old Kramer Nightswan, Natural finish mahogany body, ebony board, original It was a little rough but played great. I think I should have grabbed it. I don't know much about them , but from looking around online it seems like one awesome deal.

I remember back in the 80s, Mick Mars and Ritchie Sambora were playing Kramers and I thought Mick had a Nightswan.

Just the Floyd and neck is worth that price. Go back and get it.

Yep... if not buy it for me and i'll send ya the cash!!! LOL thats a great price if it doesnt have any major issues. I used to work at Kramer waaayyy back when. Nightswan was Viv's model if I remember correctly.

That's a good deal....definitely go back and grab it.

I knew I should've gabbed it. Ill post some pics next week

If the body was natural, it's had its finish stripped. Still for the price, I'd grab it ASAP. Serial number plate checks out as a USA model, so as long as the original floyd is on it and neck has the ping pong dots you should make out pretty nice even if you don't like it and sell it. Nightswans have an R1 width neck and 24 3/4 scale, so a lot of people get hyped about them then play it in real life and end up hating it.

I'm not sure I'd say I'm a know-everything expert but I've had almost 70 Kramers and still collect them. There's also a Kramer specific forum with a lot of knowledgeable folks if you end up with something weird. Just in case someone else reads this though, there's the Vintage Kramer website, for the love of god please research what you are getting. I'm so damn tired of seeing people pay $1500 for an evh stripe job Striker that is actually worth less than $200...

About 21 yrs ago I was in the GC in Rockville, MD and they had a white Pacer with maple neck and beak headstock, OFR and EMGs for $220. I didn't play it. I grabbed it and ran to the counter. I foolishly parted it out for about $600 on eBay.

Hurry up and snag it!

My first “real” guitar was a Kramer Pacer Deluxe I bought sometime in the mid-later 80s. I worked all summer at a grocery store to buy it. All black, black Floyd, hockey stick headstock. Neck was perfect. First show I used it and it was stolen out my car when we were out for breakfast late night. That was devastating and I still look on Reverb and eBay sometimes in some wild hope I’ll see it.

It's probably not the same one that got stolen from you, but there's a black/black nanner Pacer Deluxe on reverb right now for an absolutely ridiculous low price. $899...

Ah crap it was literally for sale an hour ago. Looks like it just sold: https://reverb.com/item/73363862-kramer-pacer-deluxe-1984-black?show_sold=true

You can't go wrong with early-mid-80s Kramers, even the Focus and Striker series guitars. They were just well made and very playable. Yeah, they look dated, depending on how old you are and what kind of band you play in. But they are solid guitars. I have an '82 Pacer with the beak headstock and single humbucker. That guitar just slays. It's a shame what happened to that company and the new ones don't, while still pretty good, don't have the same mojo. I've had a few I just didn't bond with, but they were totally solid.
